Congratulations to Lucy Loughton
Richard is delighted to announce that his 17 year old daughter Lucy has been selected to represent Great Britain in the under 18 European 3 Day Eventing Championships being held in Germany next month. Lucy won the Junior Regional Novice Championship at Weston Park last year riding Abigail III, and has been competing all season with the aim of qualifying for this years British team. Lucy; whilst still at school studying for her A levels next year commented “I was so thrilled to get the final confirmation that I was going to Germany, it is something I have been working towards all year and would like to say a big thank you to my Mum Sarah, my two trainers, Caroline Creighton and Alison Abbey and also my sponsor and personal vet (!), Richard Stringer”. Lucy has had considerably success on her 10 year old mare Abigail III; owned by her grandmother Penny Edwards, she has won ten separate horse trails and has consistently moved up through the ranks and is now an ‘Advanced’ horse and on both the British Eventing’s World Class Equine Pathway and the British Equestrian Federation’s South West Regional Foundation Squad. ...
